As trade tensions rise and new tariff policies reshape the global economy, many of us—entrepreneurs, public servants, and citizens alike—are being forced to reconsider our roles within these evolving systems.

The landscape of international trade has changed dramatically. Since the Trump administration introduced sweeping tariffs, governments and businesses around the world have faced uncertainty, complexity, and disruption. In this new reality, the need for adaptive strategies and bold solutions is more urgent than ever.

Cosmopolis Sessions were created as a direct response to this need.

What Are Cosmopolis Sessions?

Cosmopolis Sessions are immersive, collaborative gatherings where people from across disciplines—entrepreneurs, lawyers, technologists, consultants, marketing experts, strategists, and policymakers—come together to prototype real solutions to real trade challenges.

Each session is built around a structured and action-oriented process:

1. Defining the Problem

Participants begin by sharing specific trade- or system-related problems they’re facing. These can range from supply chain disruptions and tariff barriers to policy stagnation or market entry challenges.

2. Forming Diverse Teams

Attendees form interdisciplinary groups based on the challenges that resonate with them. The diversity of expertise ensures that each team benefits from legal, technical, business, and political perspectives.

3. Hypothesis Building & Research

Teams formulate a hypothesis: how can this problem be solved? They explore existing models, gather insights, and begin mapping a viable path forward.

4. Prototyping the Solution

Each group builds a prototype of their solution—either as a policy recommendation, a new product or service, or a systemic trade strategy. They create a pitch deck that includes the problem definition, solution overview, implementation timeline, cost estimation, and expected impact.

5. Validating with Stakeholders

Teams engage with real-world stakeholders—politicians, trade officials, corporate actors, and civil society leaders—to test the feasibility and relevance of their solution.

6. Presenting for Support

At the end of the session, teams pitch their strategies to fellow participants, a panel of investors, and institutional partners. The goal is not just feedback—but funding, follow-up, and real-world implementation.

Why It Works

Cosmopolis Sessions are designed to be fast-paced, focused, and deeply human. By combining rapid prototyping with live stakeholder engagement, the sessions turn complex trade problems into actionable strategies—ready for the real world.

Whether you’re an entrepreneur navigating shifting markets, a policymaker seeking reform, or a strategist looking to expand your impact, Cosmopolis offers a space to build, connect, and lead.

Apply now to join a session near you, or bring one to your organization.

Together, we can shape the future of global trade—with clarity, creativity, and courage.
